Sabrina Johnson came to her CFI Initial check already holding AGI and IGI ground instructor certificates and enthusiastically teaching. Don’t be surprised to hear a confident female first officer doing your pre takeoff announcements in the future when the Covid disaster ends. She is a student in Prescott, AZ. We had a good discussion on student vs. learner and learner-centered instruction. The Aviation Instructor Handbook is one of the FAA publications that has kept up with modern educational theory and is an excellent resource.

Congratulations to two very fine young men! Wylie is the recipient of an EAA Ray Scholarship which pays for his flight training.
