Aircraft Rental and Flight Instructors' Insurance

Aircraft Insurance

Insurance for Pilots and Instructors

Leighnor Aircraft LLC requires renter's insurance with a physical damage of non-owned aircraft coverage of $5,000 when flying single-engine aircraft. For multi-engine aircraft, the requirement is $25,000. These policies protect renters from liability in any incident. Use the form at the bottom of this page to submit proof of insurance coverage.

Flight instructors should carry insurance to protect themselves from any liability arising from any incident that occurs while the instructor was legally pilot in command.

We have two partnerships to recommend for aircraft insurance, Avemco and Starr Insurance.
